MALAYSIA'S INDEPENDENCE DAY
31/08/2014
First and far most, I am really sorry that I was unable to update my blog on Merdeka itself but here is my apology/Merdeka post!
I was silly to have forgotten to bring along my laptop charger when I was going to my home town, so there I was, stuck without a charger. Buying seemed quite a waste since I knew I would be back in the next few days.
I hope everyone had a great Independence Day. We Malaysians had celebrated our 57TH Independence day and if you think that isn't amazing, I do not know what to say. It was a day where we were able to put aside the differences in our races, our religions and to put aside politics and more to join together and celebrate this memorable day once again. It was a day of happiness and to be thankful that we live in a country where we live in peace.
As you are all aware, this years Merdeka theme was adapted from the lyrics of the song Warisan that was sung by none other than Dato' Sudirman bin Haji Arshad. Those who know him would not have trouble with this but to my non Malaysian viewers, wikipedia is a few clicks away.
I have to say, although I was unable to celebrate Merdeka to the extent where I would jump up and wave my flag, I would always keep a flag with me at all times, symbolising that I'll forever have the Merdeka spirit in me. Once again, I hope this years Merdeka was as awesome as any other year and may we treasure each Independence day, each year. May we never forget what the people have done for us to give us the Inependence we hold today. May we never forget to stay together as 1Malaysia., as united as ever. Never forget about the people who sacrificed their lives to give us a brighter future as today in peace. Never forget what Independence day is all about.
Never let anyone take away our Independence day, Never.
My belated
"Selamat Menyambut Hari Kemerdekaan Yang ke 57!!!"
MALAYSIA DI SINI LAHIRNYA SEBUAH CINTA
I am forever a proud Malaysian. I will forever be a Malaysian and I will carry my nationality as a Malaysian till' the day I die.
Tanah tumpahnya darahku.
I am forever a proud Malaysian. I will forever be a Malaysian and I will carry my nationality as a Malaysian till' the day I die.
Tanah tumpahnya darahku.
